Elbe ferries

The overview shows you all ferries in the Upper Elbe transport network, i.e. all ferry stops from the Czech border.

Most ferries do not run according to a strict timetable, but cross over as required.

You can get a rough timetable by clicking on the relevant ferry connection.

In the VVO timetable information, ferry connections are taken into account for calculation with "assumed" departure times, but the actual departure times may differ.
 

• Tariff zones with Elbe ferries (PDF, 1,5 MB)

On the following Elbe ferries, the Deutschlandticket and all tickets according to the VVO fare (except the 4-trip short-distance ticket) are recognised, as long as they are valid in terms of area and time:

• F2 Schmilka, Hp. Hirschmühle – Schmilka, Ort
• F3 Krippen – Postelwitz
• F4 Krippen – Bad Schandau, Elbkai/Stadt
• F5 Bad Schandau, Bf. – Bad Schandau, Elbkai/Stadt (Station ferry)
• F6 Königstein – Halbestadt
• F8 Stadt Wehlen, Fußweg zum Bf. – Stadt Wehlen, Markt
• F9 Pirna – Pirna-Copitz
• F10 Heidenau – Birkwitz
• F14 Pillnitz – Kleinzschachwitz (Car and passenger ferry)
• F16 Laubegast – Niederpoyritz
• F17 Johannstadt – Neustadt
• F24 Coswig-Kötitz – Gauernitz
• F28 Diesbar-Seußlitz – Niederlommatzsch
• F29 Riesa – Promnitz
• F30 Strehla – Lorenzkirch

No VVO fare tickets are recognised on the Elbe ferry in the spa town of Rathen.

If you are only using the ferry, the following prices apply:

The tickets are not bound to the respective ferry. For example, you can also use a 10-trip ticket from Pillnitz for crossings on the other ferries.

1 The tickets are not bound to the ferry station issuing them, but are mutually recognised on all ferries in the above-mentioned tariff zones, provided that transport is possible with the respective type of ticket.
2 Price applies to schoolchildren below the age of 15, , a dog, a cycle incl. cycle trailer, a pushchair or a moped / scooter up to 50 cc.
3 Offer only valid on ferries in the Pirna and Bad Schandau fare zones. Entitles you to take a dog, a bicycle incl. bicycle trailer, a handcart or a moped/moped up to 50 cc free of charge.
4 and incl. trailer; price also applies to the taking of a pushchair or a moped / scooter up to 50 cc.
5 Price valid for pupils up to their 15th birthday
6 Motorised vehicle from 50 cc or horse (incl. rider)
7 Price for a person with a vehicle or horse who can show a monthly travel pass or JobTicket at the normal fare that is valid for the area and time. Also valid for persons with a severely disabled pass in conjunction with the supplementary sheet from the pension office with a valid token. Price also applies to a vehicle trailer.
8 For 10-trip tickets, the required total number of strips (one strip per person or car) must be validated in numerical order. Strips with a lower value are thus cancelled.

Elbe ferry Schöna - Hřensko

For the cross-border Elbe ferry, the following prices also apply:

1 Price valid for students up to their 15th birthday, one dog, one bicycle incl. bicycle trailer or one handcart.
